Because our daughter got MRSA from.the hospital, we cant stay at the ronald mcdonald house.
Chloe is on a vent, and we dont know exactly whats going on.
Im.very sad and angry right now, i feel like punching a wall, and to also just go numb. How am i going to see my baby.... my baby girl each and everyday. My heart hurts because i dont know what im going to do if i cant see her. My heart feels like it got stabbed. I love Chloe so much, what is she going to do without me each day. I hurt so bad

ReplyDeleteMegan I am so sorry I cannot imagine having a child in the hospital and not be able to see them. I know you are a stronger person then I am don't think I could have held together like you have. Go ahead punch a wall if it makes you feel better, I do know it is not good for you to hold your feeling in. I will continue to pray for you and your family. I had my daughters put Chloe on the prayer list at their churches God bless all of you.
Awww.. Prayers to you and sweet baby Chloe! Don't punch a wall as bad as you would like.. May hurt a bit. Stay strong! MRSA is not a fun thing, so I am sure they are doing it for safety and health reasons. I could imagine the pain you feel right now... :( Chloe knows that you would be there if you could and I am very positive she knows how much you love and miss her... Just pray and fight for her
ReplyDeletePraying for you and little Chloe for strength and healing! I'm also praying that someone will step up and advocate for you-- there's no reason you should have to be separated from your daughter, and I'm outraged on your behalf! I hope she heals quickly. MRSA is rampant in the hospitals and I hope they take better action to protect your sweet baby from infection. Sending hugs your way.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is breaking even more now as I read this. I have an idea though...love you
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear this my heart is hurting for you. I completely understand your anger and frustration. I am feeling some of that just reading it. I wish I could help... please know you are in my prayers...
ReplyDeleteMuch love-Christina
Are you not allowed to stay in her room or in a waiting room?? I know our Children's Hospital also had low cost hotel rooms for people who either didn't qualify for Ronald McDonald or when they were full. Ask everyone who walks into her room about options...someone will either know something or know who you can talk to.
ReplyDeleteIs the MRSA on her skin, or in her blood?
ReplyDeleteI worked around patients with MRSA.. The family had to completely gown themselves while visiting and wear masks.. We had a spray we doused them and ourselves before and after leaving the room. There are strict precautions/guidelines they follow. BUT we never stopped family from visiting.. Confused on why you can stay with her myself.. <3 and prayers to you and Chloe!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you are having to go through all of this. Hang in there. You are surrounded with love and light, and Chloe is a little fighter! I hope you get to see her soon. I am thinking and praying for you both tonight. xoxo
